The Managing Director of Chieftains established the firm in 2008. We have diligently operated to assist clients to the best outcome and gained a strong reputation for knowledge, reliability and trust.

We understand that you don’t just want numbers. Our desire is to do more than simply prepare your annual financial statements and tax returns well after the financial year has ended. You need to be on top of the numbers, as they occur during the year, so you can make meaningful, informed and timely decisions for your business. Not only are we bound by the Chartered Accountants high ethical, professional and education, we are required to have ongoing professional education each year Further we must hold professional indemnity insurance and are subject to periodic quality assurance reviews by our professional body.

We also belong to The National Tax and Accountants’ Association in Australia; who are a not for profit
association dedicated to assisting accountants, tax agents, tax advisers, and businesses in resolving their tax issues and provide tax education for their members.

The Managing Director and founder of Chieftains, Chris Beavis, has a vision to build a firm that makes meaningful difference to business owners and managers and individuals who want to invest in property.

Chris has more than 30 years experience in accounting, tax and business management, Chris’ career commenced with a “Big 4” global accounting firm. 14 years experience with that firm had him progressing in positions and taking greater responsibilities in four cities in three countries. Subsequent to that, Chris undertook strategy, business planning and senior management positions with large and medium sized businesses until he established Chieftains.
